Highway Advisory Radio (HAR)

Portable Video Cameras (CCTV)

Completely self-contained, solar-powered, and wireless communications, these camera trailers can be deployed rapidly and can provide you with real-time images from the theater of operation. Rentals and purchase options are available and we stock a wide selection of used and new equipment. Optionally available are a host of different type of sensors including traffic data, weather information, chemical and biological agent detection, intrusion and customized applications.

Traffic Sensing & Detection We utilize several of the leading and certified detection and traffic sensing electronics and wireless communications to help determine the current state of traffic conditions. Portable, solar powered, and fully self contained, each unit is easily deployed and set-up in minutes. Units can be deployed in single units or networked in "clusters" or series to provide the most reliable data possible. Detection Trailers can also be combined with CCTV electronics to provide enhanced information for the specific location of observation.

Radar Safety System
The Radar Safety System (RSS) transmits a K band radar signal to motorists radar detectors. The FCC, Part 15 CRF47 compliant K band frequency is used because it is the most widely utilized frequency by police around the world. Radar detectors using the X band (10.525 GHz) can provide false alerts as the X band is shared by others including automatic door openers, burglar alarms and terrestrial microwave, etc. and motorists often disregard these alerts as "false". Motorists know that the K band is the police!

Designed to be weather resistant severe outside conditions, the RSS can survive demanding applications for DOTs, school zones, public safety and service vehicles, and can be easily mounted on poles where speed control is desired. An easy to use kit that includes the RSS and integral mounting bracket, a 12"x12" solar panel and a battery for virtually perpetual powering is a popular choice.

Additionally, these units can be provided as part of an existing traffic control device (e.g. PCMS, HAR, CCTV) or provided on a stand-alone, fully self-contained portable trailer unit.
